Joe McCord recordings

In December of 2013, while visiting my dad, I brought along an audio recorder and talked to him about his life. He was very ill at the time, and his voice was not what it used to be, but for the most part his memory was clear.

Dad passed away on January 1, 2014, so these will have to stand as a record of his life.

My goal is to edit and transcribe all of these, but that will take some time. Until then, I have decided to post the raw audio files for anyone to listen to. There are around eight hours of material here. I am posting them here in the order they were recorded.
