In the summer of 1962, we left Spokane to move back to California, stopping to visit the Seattle World’s Fair on the way. Sadly, I’ve never been back to Washington state.

In 1961, my family moved to Spokane, Washington, where I was born. Around the same time, my Dad acquired an 8mm film camera. This clip may be the first movies ever shot with that camera, beginning with me at two weeks old getting a bath.
